loved up

- When you're loved up, it means you are really happy because you're in love.

- when you're loved up, sometimes you don't pay a lot of attention to things around you.

- It can also be used to describe a couple who are very much in love, and who openly show their affection in public.

She's so loved up at the moment. She even forgets to eat lunch.

They're always together; holding hands, laughing. They seem so happy. They're really loved up!

chew the fat

- to talk in a friendly way, socially, without actually exchanging too much serious information

I don't want arguments at the dinner table! Let's not talk about football or politics – let’s just chew the fat about other things.
Mary left the company two years ago but she's always around chewing the fat with her old colleagues.
